Anthony founded Smart Business Funding in 2014 to fund the businesses banks turn away for reasons that have nothing to do with whether they can repay — a restaurant with seasonal swings, a contractor waiting on a receivable, a medical practice carrying equipment debt. He has led the company as Chief Executive Officer ever since.
He stays close to the work rather than above it: he sets credit policy himself and reads the harder files personally. Under his leadership the company was ranked No. 1,229 on the 2020 Inc. 5000, earned Better Business Bureau accreditation with an A+ rating, and holds a 5-star rating on Trustpilot across all 14 of its reviews. It funds established businesses in all 50 states, from $10,000 to $5,000,000.
